- Bio
Richard Prasch was an art instructor first at Seattle University in 1955, then the University of Oklahoma, the University of Oregon and Portland State University. His exhibit at the Henry Gallery in 1955 featured watercolors that had been on view in Oakland, California. A review of his exhibition at Harvey Welch's in 1959 describes Portland as seen through the artist's eyes, "the relationship of colors, shapes ... the city in a reflective mood after hours." His style was impressionistic in the early years, later becoming more abstract. The Portland Art Museum's Rental Sales Gallery represented him.
